“ This was the BEST food we had in Edinburgh hands down. The service was great, everyone was lovely. And the food was just insanely good. We came across this place by chance but did not regret it. I would say, if you want to try it, book a place to make sure you have a seat We had the fried chicken, the cauliflower bao bun, the dirty rice (x2) and the crispy potatoes - 5 plates was fine for two of us. All of them were pretty good ”
“ Our first night in Edinburgh we had dinner at Lucky Yu, and wow! Each dish was surprising, complex, and delectable. The restaurant itself is casual but buzzing, with tables close to one another and a constant hum of activity from the kitchen. We tried two larger dishes lots of small plates, and our favorite was the dirty rice - the flavors and textures were wild! We were a little tired from travel, and had been snacking along the way, so we ordered only 4 or 5 dishes total - I would definitely had ordered a few more on a more typical night! Great staff, too!! ”

Described what kind of food we liked and any allergies present when booking and when we came in, the food arrived so quick, effortless and tasted AMAZING! our waitress was class and we all had a lovely time.
